Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Burnaby, BC, Canada at the WeWork Office / Work From Home hybrid role 
You Move Me is growing, and we are looking for an innovative Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. If you have a successful track record of handling customers over the phone for both inbound and outbound calls then this role may be the opportunity for you to join and grow in.  
As our SDR, you are excited to take on the challenges of an innovative tech startup like organization in the professional moving services industry. You have high-energy with sound business acumen, technical aptitude and natural sales instincts. You'll be splitting your time with assisting our residential customers through our inbound queues and also generating new leads and executing an effective prospecting strategy with the goal of establishing a long term partnership with our B2B clients.
What you’ll do:
  • Increase revenue and expand You Move Me's presence through new client acquisition by identifying and prospecting new business opportunities
  • Handle inbound calls from our North American residential clients and focusing on increasing our conversion rates
  • Generate lead lists using traditional and social media channels to target our B2B specific vertical segments
  • Find and qualify decision-makers to call and/or email them to discuss business partnership opportunities 
  • Create positive experiences with all You Move Me's prospects, regardless of deal size, job title, or the likelihood of closing the opportunity
  • Update, track and report on your sales activities and outcomes
What you’ll bring:
  • 6 months - 2 years of experience in lead generation and/or full sales cycle
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment to assist with internal projects
  • Awareness and understanding of the hotel hospitality industry
  • Perseverance; you’re motivated by generating leads, even when they seem impossible to land
  • Polished communication, both written and verbal
  • Organized and understand the importance of timely follow-up
  • Maintaining some open availability to work our hours or operations anytime between 5 am and 7 pm Mon-Fri, 5 am to 5 pm on Saturdays, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm on Sundays.  Set shifts are also available.
